| Performance Notes | Hailed as 'one of the country's most polished singers' by The Times, Trudy moved to London from her native Australia to study jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and not long after got her musical career break when Ronnie Scott offered her a week at his club. Since then she has recorded 9 albums and has worked extensively around the world and throughout the UK at Clubs and Festivals. The band performs a mixture of jazz standards as well as more contemporary jazz repertoire. Trudy is also a lover of vocalese and enjoys writing and performing lyrics to some of the great jazz solos. |
