| Performance Notes | Steve has played with most leading UK jazz musicians (Sir John Dankworth, the BBC Big Band, Peter King and Mike Carr amongst many, many others), many of the leading European musicians such as George Mraz, Dado Moroni, Claus Raibler and Joe Haider and many US musicians, in 2002 Steve won the British Jazz Awards 'Rising Star' prize. Steve will be performing swinging bop standards accompanied by his own composition. Steve is one of the most exciting trumpet players around so expect to hear some Clifford Brown infectious Bop playing which is full of swing and melody. |
