Performance Notes | The late jazz legend Sir John Dankworth predicted "A very bright future with the possibility of Atilas name eventually ending up in lights" and still in his midtwenties, Atila has gone on to establish himself as one of Britains most exciting vocal talents. In April 2006 Atila toured with legendary Buddy Greco and earned a new fan in the process. Following the tour Atila recorded the album Hello Young Lovers. It was performed with a piano trio plus a few guests and has since received extensive radio play. Whilst in the US promoting the album he sang live on the Joey Reynolds Radio Show in New York.
In early 2010 Atila performed on the Alan Titchmarsh Television Show on ITV and at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival with the BBC Concert Orchestra and John Wilson Big Band. The concert was broadcast live on BBC Radio 2s Friday Night is Music Night and introduced by Sir Michael Parkinson. |
