| Performance Notes | 'The style of the Harry Waters Band is unashamedly influenced by the 1950s era of jazz when Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Miles Davis were arguably at their peaks.
The current lineup of Harry Waters on piano, Brandon Allen on tenor sax, Ollie Hayhurst on double bass and Saleem Raman on drums have been playing together for two years.
The 2008 eponymously titled debut album Harry Waters Band was recorded, in a two day session, at Londons Eastcote Studio and features Alan Barnes, Quentin Collins and Seb Rochford. It includes a previously recorded bonus track, Jarretts Dream. The Harry Waters Band most recently played the final day of Jazzinec jazz festival in the Czech Republic.' |
