Host Tommy Pearson is a broadcaster, producer and musician. A host on BBC radio and TV for 14 years, Tommy now runs Red Ted Productions, which makes films/promos for major arts organisations and works regularly with the biggest names in film music producing live orchestral concerts.

BAFTA is the leading UK charity for film, television and video games. As well as our BAFTA Awards ceremonies, we are committed to sharing the craft of film, television and games production, staging over 200 public events a year across the UK, which give our members, the industry and the public the opportunity to learn first-hand from leading industry practitioners.

London-based composer James Hannigan is one of a generation of composers who has helped music for video games to earn credibility and maturity to rival film scores. His scores include entries in several major game series from Harry Potter, Command and Conquer, The Lord of the Rings to Warhammer, EA Sports and Theme Park – as well as contributing to TV series such as BBC America's Primeval, Vietnam in HD and others. Among James's many games credits are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Parts 1 and 2), Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, Evil Genius (BAFTA Nomination, Original Music, 2004), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

He is five times BAFTA nominated for scores including: Sim Theme Park/Theme Park, Republic: The Revolution and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and has also worked on various entries in the FIFA, F1 and Grand Prix series.

The Conversation was filmed and made avaialble to watch for free on BAFTA's website.
