Performance Notes | This autumn sees the Royal Albert Hall partnering with some of its leading performers to host a series of music workshops for 30 local children in its Elgar Room, as part of its expanding education programme.
On Tuesday 25 September world-famous classical guitarist Milos Karadaglic will host a Q&A session to offer his expertise and advice to year 7 and 8 guitar students from Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster. The unique opportunity will come on the day of Milos' own performance in the main auditorium at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Hall's Albert Sessions, and the children will also be able to experience the sound check.
The guitarist commented on the upcoming workshop: "Working with young children is extremely important to me as I appreciate so much the guidance I had when I was younger. I've performed before at the Royal Albert Hall, and for my second time, it's great to be involved in what the Hall is really about - trying to increase access to the arts for those less fortunate". |
