Performance Notes | Madamoiselle Johanna Levier was indisposed and replaced by Madamoiselle Corani.
This performance was one of a run of concerts in November and Decemeber 1874 at the Royal Albert Hall which were promoted by Messrs. Novello and Co, the music publishers. Concerts were given (almost) every night and a full orchestra was engaged with Mr Pollitzar as Leader. Mr Montem Smith headed the concerts of madrigals, glees and part-songs.

Sir Julius Benedict and Signor Randegger also occassionally conducted. The organ was played by Dr Stainer and M. Guilmant. Accompanist was Mr W H Thomas. |
