Performance NotesJoin us in the spectacular surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall for what’s set to be London’s finest sing-along carol concerts of the season. These special concerts have become a festive favourite over the years and 2022 is no exception.

Tickets to Friendship Matinee are subsidised by the Hall. We welcome audiences attending the concert on their own, or as part of a group, who meet any of the following criteria:
- Receive support from a local authority or a charity.
- Belong to a community group.
- Are eligible for state benefits.
- Have a disability or special educational needs.
We welcome staff and volunteers of a charity or community group who are accompanying their service users. All chaperones’ tickets (including any organisation staff and volunteers) and wheelchair companion tickets must be included in your booking. Groups may book up to 100 tickets.

At the Royal Albert Hall, relaxed performances are for everyone. The less formal environment may particularly benefit autistic people, those with learning disabilities, those with dementia, or anyone who may prefer coming to our venue with the following measures in place:

- wheelchair platform
- British Sign Language interpreter
- Removal of any sudden loud sound effects
- Public doors open earlier
- Additional friendly members of staff to answer your questions
- Dedicated ‘chill-out’ spaces around the building
- Mobiloo facility (equipped with an electric hoist, changing table, toilet and wash-basin)
- All hand driers switched off in toilets to reduce noise levels (paper towels provided)
- Pre-visit accessible resources available to download (e.g. visual story)
- Relaxed refund policy
