| Performance Notes | The 2023 Hertfordshire Schools Gala Give Life to Music will celebrate the quality and diversity of music-making in our primary and secondary schools and network of music centres and ensembles.
A massed choir of primary and secondary singers alongside the County Youth Choir will be supported by the Hertfordshire Schools Symphony Orchestra with additional performances by instrumental and dance groups from our secondary schools and the Hertfordshire Music Service Suzuki Violin Ensemble.
Highlights include songs such as Music by John Miles, From Now On from The Greatest Showman, and Give Life Back to Music by Daft Punk. To champion the breadth of Hertfordshires musical ability, the Gala also showcases the work of the 2023 winners of the rap, composition, and songwriter competitions, who will be performing their own original pieces, songs and rap verses for the first time. |
