Performance Notes | Enjoy an inspirational performance of music by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert performed by outstanding young pianist Paul Mnatsakanov, live in the Elgar Room.

Paul Mnatsakanov is an emerging young pianist, harpsichordist and fortepianist. He seeks to share with audiences an understanding of music as an art form that is not only about beautiful, abstract sounds, but is all about meaning and emotion. In his opinion, music should always speak and convey something about the universe to the listener.
Currently, he is studying at the Royal College of Music where he is an RCM scholar, as a Joint Principal Study student with the Head of Piano, Professor Vanessa Latarche and Chair of Historical Keyboard Instruments, Professor Terence Charlston. He also studies with Philippe Raskin in Vienna, and with Prof. Yury Martynov and Ekaterina Mechetina in Moscow.
Paul graduated from the Anglo-American School of Moscow with an IB Diploma. He loves learning languages he speaks Russian, English, French and Italian fluently and he has a particular interest in theatre directing, conducting and opera. |
