| Performance Notes | This performance formed part of the London International String Quartet Competition , held every three years, attracts string quartets from all over the world. The London String Quartet Foundation, which organises the Competition, was founded in 1977 by the famous violinlist and conductor, Yehudi Menuhin and promotes the discovery and development of talent and audiences for the string quartet. Winners from the competition will perform at Wigmore Hall on the 5 April 2009 at 6pm. |
