Ray D'Inverno : Piano
Ray's piano trio has backed leading jazz stars including Al Cohn, Al Grey, Mornington Lockett, Tina May, Jim Mullen, Andy Sheppard and John Williams. Ray was voted top modern soloist in the Dunkirk International Jazz Festival (Europe's leading competitive jazz festival).
Tony Roberts Saxes : Flute
Tony is held in the highest esteem by musicians all over the world. He has appeared on albums with John Dankworth, Mike Gibbs, Kenny Wheeler and Ian Carr's "Nucleus" and all the London luminaries of the 60's and 70's. He ran a trio with Danny Thompson on bass and John McLaughlin on guitar.
Andy Urquhart : Trumpet
Andy is perhaps the finest jazz trumpeter in the South of England and has been the winner of the BBC Best Jazz soloist award.
John Bell : Drums
John has accompanied many leading musicians as a member of the Ray D'Inverno trio. He was recognised as the leading drummer at the Dunkirk International Jazz Festival. |
