Performance NotesCelebrating 10 years in the business, McFly headlined four shows at the Hall for the first time in their career.

An English pop band who formed in 2004, they consist of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals, guitar and piano), Danny Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Dougie Poynter (backing vocals and bass guitar), and Harry Judd (drums). The band rose to fame after fellow band Busted helped launch them by inviting them to tour in 2004. To date, McFly have sold more than 10 million records worldwide. In 2005, they won the Brit Award for Best British Pop Act. McFly's debut album Room on the 3rd Floor debuted at number 1 in the UK Album Chart and is certified as double platinum; this led to them becoming known as the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number 1.

As of November 2010, McFly has had eighteen consecutive top twenty singles, seven of which reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart and fifteen of which were consecutive top ten singles. The group has also performed at various charity projects such as Comic Relief, Children in Need, Live 8, and Sport Relief.

The Hall’s regular photography rules for customers were relaxed for the event and fan banners were allowed. Fans were allowed to leave letters and gifts for the band at the Stage Door. Limited 10th Anniversary merchandising items were on sale. Fans were given a chance to win McFly items by Tweeting a picture of themselves at the Hall using #McFlyRAHcomp.

The event was filmed and released as a DVD, 'McFly 10th Anniversary Concert Live at the Royal Albert Hall' by Super Records.

This was the world debut of pop supergroup 'McBusted'.

A queue of fans wrapped around the building from Door 1 overnight and all day.prior to the performance.
