Performance Notes'Of the performance as a whole we can speak favourably. The soprano music was given by Madame Lemmns-Sherrington with a freshness of voice and purity of intonation, which many younger artists might envy, and the rich, full tone of Madame Patye's contralto successfully overcame the acoustic impediments of the Albert Hall.'
