Performance NotesThe Friendship Matinee provide those who are supported by charity, community and voluntary groups and would otherwise not come to the Hall, the opportunity to see world-class performances at £5 per ticket. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra launched Friendship Matinee with a version of their evening concert compered by Tommy Pearson. Groups attending fromed a wide range of backgrounds and encompassed a demographic ranging from 5 years old to senior citizens. 2013's Friendship Matinee was in partnership with Silver Sunday; a nationwide initiative that aims to celebrate older people and their contribution to their communities.
