DescriptionThree 2 page documents from Harry Bodkin Poland regarding whether the Royal Albert Hall should be allowed to take money at the doors for concerts. He advises that under the terms of the Hall's Charter that would be permissible.
Also contains a copy of the Parliamentary Act of 10 November 1747:- 'An Act for the better preventing thefts and Robberies, and for regulating Places of public Entertainment , and for punishing Persons keeping disorderly Houses' (25 George II - Cap 36) and
'An Act to regulate the granting of Licences to Keepers of Inns, Alehouses, and Victualling Houses In England' (15 July 1828)
