Performance NotesThere was a change of set list from the one scheduled above following the events of September 11 2001.

Helene Grimaud wrote in 'Wild Harmonies', "I have never cried while playing, except on the night of September 11, 2001. (…) I had a lump in my throat when I walked onstage, and when I greeted the audience and the musicians. All of them, I knew had the same images in their minds, the same pain. But we played, played in honor of life. From the very first measures, I felt a warm liquid dampering my hands and and the keyboards - my tears. I believe that the entire audience was crying a well."
