| Performance Notes | "...Viscount Burnham...introduced M. Sampers, the executive president of the Royal Fanfare Band of Antwerp. Lord Burnham said that the great and historic society of music which was represented by the band there that evening had existed for fifty years, always adding to the artistic achievements. The most remarkable and creditable feature about ut was that it was composed entirely of working men and clerks. They had come over to show the appreciation of Belgium for the hospitality accorded to the refugees during the war, for the sympathy extended to the Belgian population, which bore with silent heroism the German yoke during the occupation, ad, perhaps most of all, to the wounded soldiers who had been cared for by British efforts, especially associated with Pastor Stanley, who was on the platform..."
