Prominently displayed at the Hall was the Europe Flag designed by Duncan Sandys. According to the Daily Telegraph (23 February 1967) the British Council of the European Movement held a reception in the Green Room of the Royal Albert Hall prior to the rally. Sir Edward and Lady Beddington - Behrens receoved the speakers and guests who included MPs and representatives of Diplomatic Missions in London and of Government departments.
