The Master General of the Society will enter carrying the Relic of the True Cross. On arrival at the foot of the SSC cross he will sing: 'Behold the wood of the cross on which was hung the Saviour of the world. Come let us worship.',
Benediction having been given with the Cross, all shall sing as the Cross is raised and the procession of Bishops enters the hall,
