Performance Notes | Sarah Walker proved a crowd-pleaser when, at the end of Rule, Britannia!, she unhooked part of her white dress from her right shoulder to reveal a large Union Jack. "It was a white dress that looked a bit like a toga,' she later recallled, "so it had a Grecian effect. And when you pulled the rip cord, so to speak, out came this giant flag. It brought the house down." |
