BiographyAntonio Ciacci was born on February 7 1941 in Tivoli, Italy. Though always described as Italian, he was a citizen of the tiny independent state of San Marino, where his parents had been born, and never took Italian citizenship.

Little Tony began his career in the 1950s and continued to draw crowds in concerts in Italy and around the world into the 21st century, selling some 40 million records. He achieved success in Britain at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s as the lead singer of Little Tony and His Brothers. Their third British single, Too Good, written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, reached No 19 in the British singles charts in January 1960.
