BiographyWith its 150-year tradition, and reputation for versatility, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir has always been central to the life of Liverpool Philharmonic. Its members are drawn from a wide range of occupations in business, medicine, education, industry and many other fields, and travel from all parts of Merseyside, and beyond, to take part in the Choir's activities. In recent years, the Choir has performed Orff’s Carmina Burana, Verdi’s Requiem, Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater, Brahms’ A German Requiem, James MacMillan’s St John Passion and of course our annual series of Carol Concerts, The Spirit of Christmas and Messiah.
