BiographyThe Asian Music Circle (sometimes abbreviated to AMC) was an organisation founded in London in 1946 by Indian writer and former political activist Ayana Angadi and his English wife Patricia Fell-Clarke, a painter and novelist. The AMC was most active during the 1950s and 1960s, its purpose to encourage Western appreciation of Asian arts and culture, particularly Indian classical music.
