Biography | Don Gould was born on 23 March 1947, in Warwickshire, UK. He was the keyboardist of the UK group the The Applejacks, best known for the 1964 hit "Tell me when" which reached No 7 in the British charts. In the 70s, he wrote a number of pop songs together with writers such as Christine Holmes (of "Devil Woman" fame) and Lynsey De Paul. More recently, his compositions have been used extensively in film and television, including 'Flying Medics' (2000). |
