| Biography | Ashley's trio perform a mixture of contemporary originals and standards.They previously won the 2015 Battle of the Bands competition held at Cheltenham Jazz festival, and performed at the 2017 International Trio Festival at Ronnie Scott's.
Ashley (b.1991) graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2014 under the tuition of renowned Jazz educator, Les Chisnall. Ashley is one of the 2014/2015 Yamaha Jazz Scholars, an award given to the best musician graduating from each music college. The award was presented to him at the House of Commons in the summer of 2014.
In 2016 Henry graduated from Royal Academy of Music, performed with Jason Marsalis and collaborated with Terence Blanchard and Jean Toussaint. He is the youngest performer to hit the bill for the International Piano Trio Festival performing with Robert Glasper, and ended 2016 performing in the final of the Unisia International Piano Competition in South Africa. |
