Biography | Kimberley Akester is singer and singing teacher. She graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991. Her first job was with the vocal group The Swingle Singers.' She has also provided vocals for various Hollywood film soundtracks, such as Evita, Phantom of the Opera, The Prince of Egypt, Romeo and Juliet and the musical movie Nine.'
She has appeared in many musicals such as Chess and has sung back-up vocals in Cats, Starlight Express and the Scandinavian Arena tour of Fame. She works as a session singer, mostly for BBC radio and TV, and performs in concerts all over Europe and has toured the UK with the opera singer Russell Watson. She is also a founder member of the Sweden based vocal group 3s Company
In 2016, Kimberley sang at the 90th birthday celebrations of Her Majesty the Queen at Windsor Castle. |
