Biography | Benjamin Goldscheider began learning the horn at the age of 9. He has since been a pupil of Susan Dent at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where he receives a full scholarship. When he was 13, Benjamin was appointed principal horn of the National Youth Chamber Orchestra and in 2012, became a member of the National Youth Orchestra. Aged 14, he was was the youngest participant in the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra Brass Academy, participating in masterclasses and workshops with the LSO Principals. (December 2014) |
