BiographyGweneth-Ann Jeffers trained at the University of Exeter, Goldsmith's College and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She was a Vilar Young Artist at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and in 2001 represented England at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition.

Recent highlights include Santuzza Cavalleria Rusticana for Opera Holland Park and Schoenberg's Gurrelider for the Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria in Mexico and Poèmes pour Mi with th BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

Operatic engagements include Aida for Finnish National Opera, Theater Bremen and Oper Kiel; Senta Der fliegende Holländer at London's Barbican Hall with London Lyric Opera; Leonora La forza del destino for Oper Köln; Leonora Il trovatore for Welsh National Opera; Amelia in Un ballo in maschera & Margherita/Helena in Boito's Mefistofele for Theater Erfurt; Tosca at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos; Gutrune Götterdämmerung at the BBC Proms under Donald Runnicles and appearances for Opera Holland Park as La Gioconda, La Wally & Leonora La forza del destino.

On the concert platform Gweneth-Ann won critical acclaim for her interpretations of Messiaen's song cycles Harawi and Poèmes pour Mi.
