NameThe Manouchetones (1990s-)
Dates1990s-
BiographyThe Manouchetones (man-oosh-tones) bring the sound and atmosphere of 1930's Paris to your venue or event. Close your eyes and picture the swinging dance halls of the Champs Elysee or the smoke filled jazz clubs of the Montmartre and we have the soundtrack to take you there. Wether swinging along to It Don't Mean a Thing, Night & Day or Sweet Georgia Brown or laying back on Nuages or Georgia on my Mind the band are adept at providing the perfect atmosphere for any event. From Bossa Nova to Blues or Parisian Waltz, the set can be tailored specifically to your needs. Although the ensemble has a core of a trio it can be expanded to add violin and/or a vocalist should it be required.

The roots of the band leads back to the 90's when Micky & Karl were performing as a guitar duo. Playing a mixture of standards and latin jazz in the style of The Guitar Trio. Later on John joined for some shows and The Manouchetones were born. Ever since we have become regulars on the local scene and have secured residencies in various venues and repeat gigs whenever we perform. Click here to see where! Between us we have performed at some of the best venues in the country and most of the festivals.
