| Biography | The 24 year old minister, preacher, choir director, singer, song writer and vocal coach Volney Morgan has a passion that was noted from an early age. It all started when he was 1 years old at his home Church, First Born church of the Living God, waving his hands mimicking Clive Brown who was the director of the church choir. You would often see Volney next to the director whilst the choir was ministering. His passion grew and at the age of 16 he started his own chorale Volney Morgan & New Ye.
This radical and liberal worshipper not only has a passion for music but for the word of God, and has been preaching since his first invitation at a youth service when he was 15 years old. Volney comes from a family of great preachers and has a unique way of delivering the word so all may understand; with the same vibrate spirit you see when he is ministering with New-Ye.
Although Volney is seen as the front man and Head of New-Ye he works very hard behind the scenes contributing to the production of music and the business side of the ministry. Not forgetting being responsible for his members as they are on the road, as he believes he has a duty of care to those he has asked to be apart of the journey.
Even at his young age Volney has faced many challenges but has not given up, his hard times have only fueled him to pursue his visions and dreams. This has been proven by his achievements personally, in business and in ministry
Volney Morgan whose name means hope of the people has a heart for people especially youth. He wants to send the word out letting them know that they can make it, they can live a life pleasing to God. One in which they dont have to conform or compromise and have the boldness to stand out and walk in the Liberty of Christ. He wants to reach those many have forgotten about and those who are ready to give up.
Volney is venturing out on his own with choir and vocal workshops, expanding on his youth ministry amongst other projects. There is surely more than meets the eye to this up coming entrepreneur and leader.

The name of this unique ministry was given to the founder and director Volney Morgan by the late Pastor P. Z Parker specifically to complete the firm vision of a young man with a then nameless group.
New-Ye have now being going for 7yrs strong starting out in 2006 with just 5 members rehearsing in a small home in London, England. They have since grown in number and continue to grow both spiritually and musically progressively learning about the precious gifts God has privileged them to use. God has opened many doors for them to be invited to various events and churches. They have had the privilege of ministering in places such as Royal Albert Hall, Ruach City Church, Fairfield Hall, COGIC, KICC, to name a few and they have also had the privilege of ministering in places as far as Scotland, Italy and the USA.
In early 2011 New-Ye released their first self-entitled EP after being selected by Premier Radio put together their own concert (New-Ye Live) which was sold out, with over 500 people in attendance. New-Ye have since worked with Universal Studios, Ekklesia, been on tour with the London Gospel Festival, Gospel, been on the This is your moment TV show and opened up for Cece Winans and Myron Butler all were great opportunities and learning experiences.
New-Ye believe their journey to be worth while as they have seen that the hard work and sacrifice pays off because peoples lives are being changed by their ministry and songs. Their aim is to share the message of Jesus Christ with as many as they can in the unique way God has purposed them to. They take ministry seriously and are very dedicated they dont just sing because they can, there is a reason why they sing a story behind every song.
