BiographyLorraine Clarke-McGhie’s first memorable experience was singing as a soloist during Primary School assembly aged 7. Her musical adventure continued as she performed in schools around London being a member of a steel band orchestra. Her musical interest progressed as she learned how to play the piano, mastered music theory and developed her voice in the choir at the Centre for Young Musicians in Central London.

Her musical interest was further developed as she became a worship leader, Junior Choir Director, vocal trainer, keyboardist and choir member for two of London’s largest mega churches: Kingsway International Christian Centre and then later on New Wine Church as she continued to thrive as a prolific singer. Lorraine also became a member of the renowned London Community Gospel Choir.

She also been seen performing on various digital network channels, which has been broadcasted around the world and in 2008 was the winner of a televised gospel singing competition on Love World Music Festival aired on Love world digital TV channel.
Lorraine’s love for Gospel music doesn’t stop there. She is a music and French graduate teaching Secondary School music and has formed gospel choirs within secondary schools, taking choirs touring Germany and Italy. She has been one of the choir leaders of the Camden Schools Choir Music Festival consisting members of over 50 schools performing at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Lorraine is also a trained vocal coach and teaches piano and music theory grades in her spare time. (October 2015)
