BiographyKhatia Buniatishvili is a Georgian-French concert pianist.

Khatia has established herself as one most prominent classical music artists of today. At home and on the world’s great stages she has been universally celebrated for her “authenticity, charisma, and persuasiveness” (NZZ) and as a pianist “playing straight from the heart” (The Guardian).

Following her belief that humanity is at the center of all arts, Khatia is involved in numerous social rights projects, such as the DLDwomen13 Conference (2013) in Munich; “To Russia with Love” (2013), a concert in Berlin to speak out against the violation of human rights in Russia; “Charity Concert in Kiev” (2015) for wounded persons in the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone; United Nations Climate Change Conference - Marrakech Climate Show; the United Nation’s 70th Anniversary Humanitarian Concert (2015) in Geneva which benefited Syrian refugees; and Global Citizen festival Hamburg (2017), charity project against extreme poverty globally. She is an ambassador of Plan International, a UK-based organization for children’s rights and equality for girls and the Paris-based “Fondation Cœur et Recherche” for cardiovascular research.

Khatia’s extraordinary playing inspires not only academic music lovers but through her charisma she attracts younger generation and all those people who have never been linked with classical music before.

Khatia collaborated with rock group Coldplay on their latest album “Head Full of Dreams”. She performed with Ice skating Olympic champions touring with them with “Art On Ice” project.
