BiographyDiscovered by legendary American singer Margaret Whiting, Robert worked in the U.S.A, voted Best International Performer 1994 by the prestigious Manhattan Association of Cabarets of New York, resulting in several major tours. He performed with Margaret Whiting, Kay Starr, Steve Ross, Rosemary Squires and the late Loonis McGlohan who wrote songs for Sinatra.

Robert Habermann's unique shows are 'story book' shows where he not only sings the songs but tells the story together with lots of anecdotes – having met many of the leading songwriters and performers of this amazing period.

Robert devotes an entire show to a singer, writer or style - telling fascinating stories and singing their wonderful songs.

Audiences enjoy this 'story book' concept - always returning to experience another one of this great series.

Robert was the first major British singer to perform a concert to celebrate Frank Sinatra's 80th Birthday at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall in 1995. It was called "Frank Sinatra: His Way."

Robert performs his unique 'story book' shows regularly for The Saga Special Interests Group and performs his shows all over the United Kingdom.

He was also the lead singer also the String of Pearls Big Band ( 2005- 2011) and sings with a variety of the best big bands in England. Robert has performed at Purcell Room, London's South Bank Centre, Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, Epsom Playhouse, The Dugdale Centre, Millfield Centre, London's Pizza On The Park, The Marlowe Theatre, and Camberley Theatre and many other venues in the UK
