| Biography | Katarzyna "Kasia" Madera is a British journalist and television news presenter. She fronts mainly evening and overnight bulletins on BBC News and BBC World News, presenting the Newsday strand ThursdayFriday from London with Rico Hizon or Sharanjit Leyl in Singapore, World News Today on Friday and Reporters (BBC News programme), a weekly showcase of reports from the BBC.
In 2013 she became one of the main relief presenters of World News Today broadcast on both BBC Four and BBC World News, and then its deputy presenter following the departure of Zeinab Badawi. From 2017 she is an occasional relief presenter at weekends on the BBC News Channel. |
