Biography | Alexandra graduated with a Bachelors of Music(Hons) - First Class - in 2014 and a Masters of Science in Performance Science - Distinction - in 2017, both from the Royal College of Music. She has played numerous concerts in the UK in venues such as the Southbank Centre, V&A Museum, Charlton House and Waltham Abbey, but also internationally, in France, Greece, Japan and her native Romania. More than just following a solo career, Alexandra is passionate about outreach work and pedagogy, having been awarded a LRSM Teaching Diploma with Distinction in the summer of 2015. She currently teaches at West London Free School, in London, and Surbiton High School, in Surbiton. Alexandra's interests also include the harpsichord and composition, subjects she studied while at the RCM, in addition to principal study piano, as well as psychology, health and wellbeing and performance science. She is most keen to perform for charitable causes and community clubs. |
