Biography | Nathan Tinker obtained his Bachelors of Music(Hons) from the Royal College of Music and his Masters of Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Primarily a collaborative pianist, Nathan has performed in the UK, at the Barbican Centre, Hampton Court House, St. Martins in the Fields, St. James Piccadilly, the Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall; and internationally, Corsica, Italy, Spain, Romania and his native Japan. He was the winner of the Guildhall Accompanist Prize, 2016, and was awarded the Concert Recital Diploma upon graduating. Since September 2017, he is working as an artist fellow of the GSMD in contemporary piano, involving a mixture of contemporary instrumental repertoire as well as applying for competitions and platforms such as the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform. Nathan is also an accompanist of dance and has been working with English National Ballet, BalletBoyz and Rambert as a Dance for Parkinson's musician, additionally as an avid composer and arranger. |
