| Biography | Waris Ameer Ali was a civil servant and administrator. Educated at Wellington College and Balliol College, Oxford, he joined the Indian civil service and served in the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh.
On 5 October 1928, Waris was elected a member of the Executive Committee of the Society for the Protestion of the Fauna of the Empire - now the Fauna Preservation Society. |
