| Biography | British soprano Gemma Summerfield was awarded First Prize at the 2022 Tenor Viñas Contest and the 2019 Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino, and was a finalist in the inaugural Glyndebourne Opera Cup in 2018.
In the 2021-22 season she makes her role debut as Mimì La bohème for Northern Ireland Opera and her house debut at Opéra national du Rhin as Fiordiligi Così fan tutte. She also appears in concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, in a Carols by Candlelight tour with the Mozart Festival Orchestra and Chorus, and in recital at Wigmore Hall. |
