BiographyTuna Dyonmez was born in 2005 and started to play piano at age of 6. After achieving the ABRSM Grade 8 exam with distinction at the age of 12, he continued his piano studies with Yekaterina Lebedeva at the Royal College of Music Junior Department (RCMJD).

In the past few years he won several first prizes such as the Premier Challenge Cup Competition and Recital Class at the North London Festival of Music, and the Jean Merlow Memorial Scholarship Class, Senior Recital Class and Junior Piano Award at Watford Festival of Music. In June 2021, he was selected to represent the RCMJD at the Junior Intercollegiate Piano Competition organised by the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe, where he came second. The same year, Tuna also won third prize at the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition.

At the Royal College of Music, Tuna was presented with the Granger Award. In 2021, he was also awarded with the Hattori Foundation Junior Award. Tuna loves classical music, and alongside piano, also plays cello. His favourite composers are Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Ravel.
