| Biography | Over the years he has attended masterclasses by world-renowned guitarists such as Eduardo Fernandez, Jorge Caballero, Marcelo Kayath, Leo Brouwer and Carlos Barbosa Lima. Encouraged by his family and teachers he moved to London to pursue a career as a concert musician. From 2014 to 2020 he studied at the Royal Academy of Music under the guidance of Prof. Michael Lewin, Steve Goss, Fábio Zanon and David Russell, with full scholarship funded by the Brazilian Ministery of Education, where he completed his studies both as an undergraduate and Masters student.
He has most recently performed for Apple Music, at the Two Moors Festival, the Garrick Club. For television he has appeared on the French TV programme C à vous, BBC Ones Imagine, and Globos Jornal Hoje (Brazil), performing and being interviewed with his duo partner and friend, British cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason. |
