Biography | Soprano singer, Kate Anderson, studied violin at the Royal College of Music at the age of sixteen. She chose to switch to singing and study with Albert Visetti. Still a student in 1901, she sang at the Garden in Stanford's Much Ado About Nothing. During 1903-1904 at Albert Hall she sang with leading choral societies and appeared as Micaela in Carmen first with Moody-Manners in 1904. With this company, she toured England, singing a variety of roles. |
