Biography | Tongue Fu is one of Londons liveliest and best attended spoken word nights. It is a riotous experiment in live literature, music, film and improvisation; frequently surprising, sometimes hilarious, often poignant and always unrehearsed. Guests have included Lemn Sissay, Kate Tempest, Scroobius Pip, Salena Godden, Inua Ellams, Ross Sutherland, Laura Dockrill and many more.
Tongue Fu hosts a regular packed residency at Rich Mix in Shoreditch and boasts a growing list of shows at The Barbican, The Roundhouse, Glastonbury Festival, Latitude, The Big Chill, Bestival and many smaller music and literature festivals around the UK. Gigs in 2013 include The Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall and a residency in the E4 Udderbelly at the Southbank Centre.
