NameRoyal College of Music (London); Ensemble de Trianon; 2010-; British student music group
Dates2010-
BiographyEnsemble de Trianon is formed by students and recent graduates of the Historical Performance Department at the Royal College of Music London since 2010.

The group's name originates from the palaces Grande and Petit Trianon at Versailles, France. It symbolises the refined and exclusive court music tradition in the 17th and 18th century Europe, leading by the French court at Versailles, where musicians from all countries expressed and exchanged their ideas and tastes of music at the time, just like in this ensemble.

They specialise in a historically informed yet lively and exciting interpretation of the music of the baroque period and enjoy exploring the different styles of the 17th and 18th century music which represent a miniature of cultural life in Europe at the time.
