BiographyFormed in 1989 by Roy Wales the English Concert Chorus and its chamber choir, the English Concert Singers, are unique choral organisations.

They draw their membership nationwide and have achieved international recognition by the high standards of their performances worldwide.

The singers come from all walks of life and travel to rehearsals and concerts from as far afield as Newcastle in the North, Cornwall in the South West, Wales, Brighton on the South coast, Ipswich and Southend-on-Sea in the East and also from many parts of the Midlands and London.

The English Concert Singers have visited 44 countries since their formation including many parts of Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, China and Hong Kong, South America, South Africa, Israel, the West Indies, Bali and Australia.
