| Biography | The British pianist and arranger Jack Byfield (1902-77) is remembered today mainly for his long-time association with the violinists Max Jaffa and Albert Sandler and their 'Palm Court' orchestras and trios. He appeared regularly on the long-running BBC radio programme 'Grand Hotel', which ended in 1973, and also had his own orchestra. |
