Biography | Philip Achille best known as is a harmonica player.
He began training with one of the great masters of harmonica James Hughes. He graduated from the Royal College of Music. Although much of his study was devoted to classical, he is a keen jazz musician. His approach sees him performing at a variety of venues from the Royal Albert Hall, to an empty Westminster tube station. He also plays the double bass. His playing can be heard on various records and film/TV soundtracks, and occasionally on the London underground where he busks regularly.
Achievements include National Harmonica League Player of the Year 2005 and Eurovision Young Musician of the Year Finalist 2008. |
