Biography
Emil Baluwaert was a Belgian baritone.
He received his training at the Brussels Conservatory from Eugene Goossens and Henri Warmots . He received lessons in music, trumpet, singing and violin. He was briefly a violinist at the Vlaamse Schouwburg in Antwerp. His transition to singing came by chance. In a performance of Frans Ackerman (about Frans Ackerman ) by Karel Miry, one of the lead singers was ill; Blauwaert stepped in. He went on to become a concert and oratorio singer performing within Europe from London to Saint Petersburg.
