From 1947 to 1980 Wilfred Orange introduced Dance Competitions on behalf of Butlin's and laid the first foundations for competitive dance today. During the 1970s Roger Billington assisted in the administration of the Dance Festival Office, eventually taking over the task of the Butlin's National Dance Organiser on the retirement of Wilfred Orange. |
