The Chieftains, who have been playing Irish traditional music in clubs and at festivals for the past decade or so, have just given their first full scale professional concert at the Albert Hall.
It was in some ways the best folk concert heard there for quite a few years.
...The instruments these seven musicians deploy include the uilieann (or elbow) pipes, two fiddles, harp, flute, whistles, concertina and the bodhran drum."
